Capture an item
Import an image or PDF from Photos, Files, the camera, or the Share extension.

Choose a source
Open SnapInbox to choose a photo, file, or the camera. You can also share an item from another app.

Process one item
SnapInbox processes one item at a time; it does not scan your photo library or import batches automatically.

Review and turn it into an action
Check every detected detail before saving it or sending it to another app.

Check the evidence
Compare suggestions, their confidence, and the source excerpt; correct dates, times, or other fields that do not match.

Save or confirm
Save the item to Inbox. To create a calendar event or reminder, review its details and explicitly confirm the action.

Organize and share
Return to reviewed items through search, Archive, and Pro tools.

Share a dossier when needed
Pro lets you export a text dossier for one item; it is not a backup of Inbox or Archive.
Notes and clarifications
Extraction is a suggestion
Confidence and evidence help you review each field. OCR can miss or misread content; check the source, especially for ambiguous dates.
On-device processing and Apple features
Deterministic extraction always runs. Foundation Models is an optional addition that requires a supported device and OS. Calendar, Reminders, notifications, the camera, and purchases depend on their relevant permissions or services.
Source-file retention
In Settings, keep the local copy used by SnapInbox or choose to delete it after extraction. This setting does not delete the original item from Photos or Files.
Purchases and your library are separate
You can restore a Pro subscription with the same Apple Account. Restoring it does not move Inbox or Archive to another device: the library stays on this device and does not sync to iCloud.
Current limits
Supported files and size
Supported formats are JPEG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, TIFF, and PDF up to 80 MiB per item.
One-at-a-time import
Choose each item yourself; batch import and automatic Photos scanning are not available.
No library sync
Inbox and Archive do not sync between devices and have no remote backup. Pro dossier export covers text for one item.
Review is required
SnapInbox cannot guarantee extraction is correct. An ambiguous date must not become an action without review and confirmation.
Free plan limit
The free plan allows up to 3 active Inbox items. Pro expands capacity and unlocks full Archive history and the advanced features listed in the plan comparison.

App SupportAre my screenshots sent to the cloud?+
No. The current version processes and stores SnapInbox content locally. RevenueCat receives only the technical information needed to manage the Pro subscription; it does not receive your screenshots or OCR results.
Do I need an account?+
No. The main flow works without an account or connection. Purchases are associated with the Apple Account used by the App Store.
Can I trust detected dates?+
SnapInbox shows confidence and evidence, but extraction can be wrong. Review the original content and correct fields before saving or creating an action.
Does it create events or reminders automatically?+
No. Calendar and Reminders actions require your explicit confirmation after you review the data.
How do I delete an item?+
You can delete it in the app and adjust source-capture retention. Uninstalling SnapInbox removes its app-controlled local copies.
How do I restore SnapInbox Pro?+
Use Restore Purchases in SnapInbox with the same Apple Account. Apple and RevenueCat will check the subscription status; subscriptions are managed in Settings > your name > Subscriptions.
